Prospective Study of Chronic Kidney Disease in Children Study

This project is devoted to studying the neurodevelopmental outcomes of children with mild to moderate kidney disease. In addition to biannual neurodevelopmental assessments, examining both cognitive-developmental and social-behavioral functioning, children with more severe kidney disease will receive targeted neurological assessment and brain imaging. PI: Furth. This project is funded by the NIH-NIDDK.
