Community Outreach to Carolina Living & Learning Center

The Carolina Living and Learning Center (CLLC) is an integrated vocational and residential program for adults with autism which is part of TEACCH and UNC-Chapel Hill. It currently serves as a home to 15 residents who are learning to development independent skills in a wide variety of areas including communication, social, leisure, vocation, self-help, domestic and cooking which are addressed through activities both at the CLLC and in the community. The speech-language pathology team at CIDD works collaboratively with Dr. Nancy Reichle, director of the CLLC, and her staff to provide comprehensive speech and language assessments, individualized treatment plans, and inservice training.
