Postsecondary Education Alliance
What is the PSEA?
The North Carolina Postsecondary Education Alliance is a diverse group consisting of emerging leaders with developmental disabilities, representatives of state agencies and organizations, legislators, educators, and families and other advocates. Our mission is to expand the options for postsecondary education for individuals with developmental disabilities throughout North Carolina.

Community Colleges:
Selected Community Colleges throughout North Carolina offer career-focused courses for students with developmental disabilities who have exited high school and wish to continue their education.

Universities:
Universities across the state have developed programs aimed at providing postsecondary educational opportunities to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
